We arrived in Japan yesterday evening (Tuesday, July 15, 2008). It was a long flight and we were happy to get off the plane. A woman named Yuko Sato met us at the airport and brought us back to the hotel.









When we got the the hotel we were greeted by Frances's friend Dr. Kawazu. He took us to dinner at a resturant in the hotel. We ate tempura. It was very good. We were all very tired so we cut out a bit early to go to bed!
